We are looking forward to a new year. We are praying that God would equip us for what ever the new year brings. The boys are getting so big. Caden will be 6 in March and Owen will be 4 in October. The years are flying by. I am thankful that I get to be on lifes highway with my wonderful Husband Tim. He is patiten and kind with his wife, who can be an enotionl rollercoaster. I am thankful God has allowed us to be married. I pray that we will surive our first year of homeschooling. Good by 2008

Home School

Home school.

Do you use a charter or go on your own. That is the question.
I have been home schooling for 1 year now. Well I should say I have been officially home schooling for a 1 year now. We are using a charter. It is nice to have the budget of a charter school Although I don't like having to answer to a CT. I would rather do what I want. Let cook some cookies and call that science and math. Let go to the library and call the community helpers and English. You really have now way of measuring that. I measure it by the memories we are creating. I have 2 boys and they love exploring our yard with magnify glasses. What better way to learn than to let it happen naturally. That is my pondering thought for today.
What is for dinner?

More to come

Bugs now Mold

Well we found bugs. We watched them grow and then let them go. Now we are growing mold. Yes I said mold on bread that is. Although it has not happened yet it has been to cold. It has been 3 days I I hope their will be some mold tomorrow. It is for our science note book

Are your parents home?

I am a mom and a wife. Two times in the last 2 weeks sales people come to the door and ask "are your parents home?"...... I pause for a minute and then say I am the parent. You should see the look on their face. I know one day I will appreciate it but right now I think it is funny.

The pumpking patch

The pumpkin patch. They boys had a great time. Owen was so proud of his little half rotten green pumpkin. Yes we bought a green pumpkin Caden found the biggest one he could carry. It took the kids 5 min to find the perfect pumpkin. Tim on the other hand is a pumpkin carving man. It took him a little longer to find the pumpkin that would display his perfect design. We had a great time.

BUGS

I do not do bugs. I don't like them...... However I have boys. My boys love bugs. so we caught the crawling thing which then turned in to a moth. ( that was actually kind of neat) Then we caught a bee. (he broke his wig) We put him in a jar with some honey. He drank up all the honey and then was to fat to move. He kept falling over.

We decided to home school this year. It was so hard in the beginning. But as time goes on I think we are getting the hang of it. Home school is nice because when Caden has a off day or is sleepy we can take is slow. There are some days he is right on top of everything and gets lots of work done. It so neat to hear him ask to do certian work. He wants to do more more more...some days that is.

Owen just celbrated his 3rd birthday. My baby is 3. =( They grow so fast. His food allergies are doing much better. We say the allergist yesterday. Owen is over his milk allergie and the nut allergie is very slight. Eggs however are still kind of high. He can tollrate eggs in things like birthday cake and cookies, pankcakes but not any more than that.
