Boys!
Why must everything be a weapon?
Crackers and sandwiches get eaten in to a gun shape. Every stick and wrapping paper roll, paper towel roll ect becomes a sword.
My boys tell me they are protecting me from the evil robots. Should evil robots ever invade the earth I am safe =)
It is so cute to see how my boys protect there mom with out ever being taught to do so.
Life with boys is busy but I would not want it any other way.

Boys and Parks
My children and I have been going to a park not far form our home for close to 5 years now. We are at that park sometimes 2 times a week. I love watching them grow and do new things as they gain strength. It is so much fun to watch them get bigger and bigger. C can now reach almost every bar in the park. O tries his hardest he thinks he is big. My boys are growing so fast.
Sad Christmas
I love to cook and bake cookies for my neighbors during the Christmas season. This year however, it has been hard to be in the mood. I lost 3 grandparents in 6 weeks this year. What makes things even harder is I don't know if they knew Christ. My heart aches for them. Are they in Heaven with our wonderful Lord and Savior? Or did they stand before Him covered in their sins?
Christmas Memories:
When I was a kid I loved getting together with my all my Grandparents. I loved having my family close. The women in my family would get together and bake cookies every year. I loved seeing my cousins. I just assumed my children would have the same. I really wanted my kids to have some of the same traditions I had as a child. I have learned that is not going to happen. My family is more then 400 miles away the see my kids 1 or 2 times a year.
My kids have 3 cousins and don't even know it. They have 2 aunts and 2 uncles and don't even know it. There aunts and uncles live very close. They don't see them or spend time with them as much as I wish. I have learned just because it is important to me it is not important to others.
I am so thankful for my hubby and children. I thank God for them every day. I just wish I had people I could be close to. I know God is in control and he has me where he wants me. It feels lonely sometimes.
After talking to the hubby, we have decided to make our own traditions or own memories. Now we just need to figure out what those traditions should be.
My kids are currently fighting in the other room "Oh happy memories" grrrrrrrrrrrrr

Life with to boys
Bathrooms! need I say more. Those of you that have boys know what I am talking about. Does it ever end? How one earth did the pee get back there?
I love being the mom of 2 boys. It is so much fun. ... Fun and never ending adventure. I wake up every day with a plan and God is quick to show me it is His plans not mine.
We started home schooling a little early this year. Our home school year does not start until September 8th. The kids are excited! Stickers pens, markers, paint, stamps, you name it they can not wait to use it. It is all new and shiney. Over the summer the wore the old ones out
Caden is most excited about math and science and reading his new books.
Owen is so excited about learning to read
I have learned one thing...well many things.. but for today
You can have a clean house when the kids move out.
My house is a mess because I took the time to play today.

Please pray for my family
Wonderful, merciful Savior
Precious Redeemer and Friend
Who would have thought that a Lamb
Could rescue the souls of men
Oh you rescue the souls of men
Counselor, Comforter, Keeper
Spirit we long to embrace
You offer hope when our hearts have
Hopelessly lost the way
Oh, we hopelessly lost the way
You are the One that we praise
You are the One we adore
You give the healing and grace
Our hearts always hunger for
Oh, our hearts always hunger for
Almighty, infinite Father
Faithfully loving Your own
Here in our weakness You find us
Falling before Your throne
Oh, we're falling before Your throne
Precious Redeemer and Friend
Who would have thought that a Lamb
Could rescue the souls of men
Oh you rescue the souls of men
Counselor, Comforter, Keeper
Spirit we long to embrace

Cuddling
How wonderful the little things in life, cuddling. I am thankful I am home schooling. We do not have to wake up to an alarm. We have time to just cuddle. Today Owen just wanted to cuddle for a little while. Thankfully we are not tied down. Sure schedules are important, but so is taking time to stop and smell the roses, or answer sweet questions form a curious 3 year old. Or giving kisses to is cuddle friend, and listen to his sweet knock, knock jokes.

My boys

My boys.
Wow they are getting so big so fast. Caden will be 6. 6! this year. I can believe how fast it has gone by. Caden loves reading. he read any thing he can get his hands on. He also love legos.
Owen. Owen is 3. He will be 4 in October. Owen loves tools and his big brother. Owen will find and stash any tools he can get his hands on. When it is time to put batteries in something he gets very excited, because you need a screwdriver to take the battery cover off. Owen is starting to come out of his shell. He love to tell his brother knock knock jokes.
